 Foam-based fire fighting system is a specialized fire suppression system that uses foam as an extinguishing agent to control, suppress, or extinguish fires involving flammable liquids, such as gasoline, oil, and chemical solvents. Foam systems are particularly effective for fires where water alone might not be sufficient or could worsen the situation by spreading flammable liquids. Foam-based systems create a barrier on the surface of the liquid, cutting off the fire's oxygen supply and preventing the release of flammable vapors. 

 A gas-based fire fighting system is a specialized fire suppression system that utilizes various gases as extinguishing agents to control, suppress, or extinguish fires in environments where water or other traditional methods may not be suitable. Gas-based systems are commonly used in areas with sensitive equipment, valuable assets, or environments where water damage needs to be minimized. These systems work by removing heat or reducing oxygen levels, thus suppressing the fire.
